New Roles Available For 2023

Caldicot Town Team has a range of new roles available within the organisation for those wishing to dedicate their time, offer their skills or to embark on learning new knowledge. The team would love to welcome you on board in any of these roles.

Caldicot Town Team has been running as a voluntary group for the last 9 years and has many strings to their bow, working on numerous different projects at once as well as organising events, markets and trying to help support local business and work with local groups and organisations. Due to this wide variety of work, the team are looking to take on enthusiastic team members who can help compliment the work that Caldicot Town Team do in the community.

We have a mixed bag of skill sets within the team, so we don’t expect you to be an expert in roles you apply for. We encourage those who are ideas and creative people, just as much as those who are more academic based.

• Social Media Marketer – Role includes promotion of Pages & Events – responding to messages; posting relevant articles and handling engagement – Voluntary
• Funding Officer – This is a Commission Based Role – applying for funding opportunities for wide variety of Caldicot Town Team projects – finding sponsorship opportunities – Commission Based
• Event Organising Assistant – Quoting & Making Bookings for infrastructure – organising paperwork and risk assessments – promotion of events – sponsorship opportunities – Voluntary
• Website Designer – updating website design – resolving issues – installing and managing new features – Voluntary
• Shop Assistant – Staffing the CORE shop in Caldicot Town Centre – taking payments for traders – dealing with enquiries, promoting locally as well as on social media – Voluntary
• Odd Job/Handyman – Carry out repairs to assets – installing and replacing where needed – Voluntary
• Carpenter – Building and designing new market style stalls – building for events where needed – Voluntary

Most of these roles are on a voluntary basis, however we will cover expenses where required and will always ensure that you are not out of pocket for any work you do for Caldicot Town Team. The Directors and all team members are volunteers.

The very reason Caldicot Town Team have had successes over the last 10 years is because of our volunteers. Without the massive and incredible dedication and determination they put in, we would not still be running.
